Backer is led by Amie, whose background spans sales, account management, business development, operations and business ownership. Alongside nearly 20 years running her own property management business, she co-founded a venture-backed US prop-tech company and helped take it from concept through growth and ultimately acquisition. That experience gives Backer a practical understanding of what it takes to build, run and grow a business behind the scenes.
That breadth matters because operational problems rarely sit neatly in one box. A process issue can affect customers. A staffing gap can affect sales. Poor systems can turn growth into more work for the owner instead of more value for the business.
Backer brings those threads together. The focus is practical: understand what is getting in the way, create better structure, take pressure off the owner and help the business reach the point where it can confidently build more of its own internal capability.
